The resting state of a psyche

Each type has its own default state on one of the two sides of a binary trait. This position can be further adjusted by octagram. The tendency to favor one side creates imbalance; it enables individuals to have their own strengths and weakness. Integration leads to an individual's ability to manage the state of their psyche in an efficient, orderly manner, such that they can move back and forth between the four sides of their mind more effectively. When a psyche maintains equilibrium, it restores more energy than it spends. When a psyche does not maintain equilibrium, it spends more energy than it restores.
