Cognitive Development
Cognitive development becomes mostly rigid once an individual upon reaching adolescence. After that, it can take decades to switch between SD and UD. Brain trauma is known to reset a person's octagram and thus creates an exception.
Explaining Cognitive Development
Cognitive focus used to refer to improved neural pathways to a specific side of the mind. Cognitive development is the new term for this. Cognitive focus now refers to the real-time preference for using either the subconscious or unconscious, rather than a proclivity to lean on one of those sides of the mind due to past experience, which is cognitive development.
